The role The Hospice at Home team is part of our community services. We are a rapid response service and provide crisis support and end of life care, as well as respite care to allow crucial time away for carers and families, when they need it. Our aim is to bring a real choice to people – enabling them to be cared for in their own home and providing vital support to their carers and families. Part of a small, supportive team, you’ll be providing individualised care to the patient in their home setting and supporting their family and informal carers and you’ll be paid for the full shift What we offer Flexible shifts considered If you just want to work afternoons, or predominantly nights etc, Paid for the full shift You’ll always be paid for your full shift, including travelling time between calls. Annual leave 33 days per annum, which includes bank holidays (pro rata for part time), increasing after five and 10 years’ service. Pension scheme We match contributions up to 7% to a NEST scheme. Due to the nature of this caring role, an enhanced DBS clearance will be required.
