We currently have a permanent Housekeeping Supervisor vacancy at Pershore Community Hospital
10 hours per week
Monday to Friday - 17:00-19:00
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a busy and varied environment, working alongside clinical teams and infection control. Housekeeping teams ensure the cleanliness of the Trust's estate in accordance with national standards and the Trust's strategic cleaning plan.

Main duties of the job
We pride ourselves on maintaining cleaning standards to a star-rated audit process. Join our teams, we provide outstanding care to patients across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. We will provide you with resources to develop and progress a long-term career to include flexibility, continual professional development as well as a wide range of wellbeing and support.
You will lead a small team to deliver professional NHS housekeeping services in accordance with schedules/procedures and contribute to processes to ensure standards are achieved. Maintain staff records, ensuring rosters meet service needs. Be involved in staff induction/training and complete staff development reviews.
Report equipment/environment defects and manage/replenish housekeeping related stock. In return, you will receive support, training, and guidance to enable you to undertake a range of duties to support your team.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* NVQ1 in Housekeeping or experience to an equivalent level
* Certificates in Health and Safety, Manual Handling
* Any other job-related training
Additional Criteria
* Able to meet the travel requirements of the role
* You understand that we will not provide sponsorship to work for this role.
Experience
* Previous experience in the cleaning industry
* Supervisory experience in the cleaning industry
* NHS cleaning supervision would be an advantage
