We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operative for our client in Redruth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring the safe and timely movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and yard.
Perform routine equipment checks and ensure the forklift is in good working condition.
Assist with inventory management by accurately storing and tracking materials.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
Requirements:
Valid forklift license (Counterbalance)
Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Physical fitness, with the ability to lift and move heavy items.
