A creative, holistic Primary School in Camden with specialist provisions for SEN is looking for a confident, ambitious ASD/ADHD Support Assistant, Year 1 to provide support for pupils with various Special Educational Needs and with a specific focus on Autism.
You will be working alongside a motivated team of specialist teachers, various therapists, and inclusion staff as an ASD/ADHD Support Assistant, Year 1, helping manage the classroom environment, creating exciting activities, and delivering tailored programmes to pupils using the extensive equipment at the school.
The ideal candidate for this ASD/ADHD Support Assistant, Year 1 role would be a graduate searching for the perfect role to start their career in education or an individual passionate about SEN who is looking to work alongside the best specialist staff and equipment such as Speech and Language Therapists, Hydro-therapists, Psychologists, and more!
Additionally, this is a perfect role to provide valuable experience for aspiring Psychologists, SEN teachers, Therapists, Primary School Teachers, and more.
ASD/ADHD Support Assistant, Year 1 - JOB SPEC
1. Provide support for pupils across EYFS, KS1 & KS2 with SEN requirements
2. Use your creativity and imagination to excite the pupils
3. ASAP Start - Full academic year
4. £105 - £110 per day - Term time only
5. 8:30 am - 4:00 pm - Full time position
6. Based in Camden

ASD/ADHD Support Assistant, Year 1 - APP SPEC
1. Hold a 1st Class or 2:1 in Psychology or related subject
2. A passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for all pupils to flourish within
3. Previous experience working with children in a formal or informal setting
4. Creative and confident to use your innovation to create fun and exciting activities
5. Must be a team player who can work collaboratively with others
6. A passion for supporting those with Special Educational Needs (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc)
