About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate KS2 Teaching Assistant to support students in a primary school located in TS26, Teesside. This role is ideal for individuals with experience working with children in any setting (e.g., childcare, coaching, youth work, or mentoring), even if they don’t have formal classroom experience.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Provide support to teachers in delivering engaging KS2 lessons.
✔️ Assist students with their learning, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis.
✔️ Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
✔️ Support pupils with additional needs to ensure their progress.
✔️ Prepare learning materials and classroom resources.
Requirements:
✅ Experience working with children (e.g., coaching, mentoring, childcare, or youth work).
✅ A passion for education and helping young learners succeed.
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
✅ A DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
