HLTA required for an SEMH School in Harlow A school in Harlow which supports students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs is looking for a new HLTA to join their team of dedicated staff. Their vision is to ensure pupils recieve a quality education that incorporates a blend of academic, vocational and social learning opportunities. This is done through providing stimulating learning experiences that are purposeful, challenging and well suited to each students individual needs. The role of a HLTA will include providing support to students and teachers as welll as assisting with the curriculum. Some of the duties can be seen below : Assist the teacher to plan and prepare challenging teaching and learning objectives Use detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support and progress pupils' learning Deliver agreed learning activities to pupils, adjusting activities according to pupil responses/need Experience working within any school is required. If you have experience supporting within an SEMH setting this would be desirable. This is a full time, temp to perm role to start immediately. The hours will be 8:30am - 4pm.
