Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and skilled TA to support students with special educational needs (SEN) in a secondary school in South Wirral. The Role: Supporting students with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored learning strategies Providing 1:1 and small group support to enhance student progress Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence in learning Helping to manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies The Ideal Candidate: Experience working with SEN students in a secondary school setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt and provide differentiated support A calm, patient, and proactive approach A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, Psychology, Education) – desirable but not essential DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one Why Join Teaching Personnel?
