Day Rate: £380 - £440 per week after deductions
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Oldbury is seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs. This long-term role offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide small group and in-class support to pupils with SEN, ensuring they can access learning effectively
- Assist with academic, social, and emotional development, adapting strategies to meet individual needs
- Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to track progress and implement tailored interventions
- Use structured routines, visual aids, and positive reinforcement to encourage engagement and independence
- Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning needs, helping them feel confident and included in the classroom
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all pupils' well-being
What We're Looking For:
- A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant SEN experience
- Experience working with children with additional needs in a primary school setting
- Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, sensory strategies, or behaviour management techniques is beneficial
- A strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and best practices in child protection
- A flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to work as part of a team
