To provide administrative, events, and communications support to Obesity Action Scotland. Reporting to the Head, the Programme Assistant's responsibilities will include:
1. Organising and providing executive assistance to the head for the efficient running of the unit, including diary management, correspondence, spreadsheet, and database management.
2. Organising and coordinating events, meetings, media, and communications.
3. Managing the organisation's digital media platforms and social media posts.
4. Tracking and monitoring unit finances and preparing financial reports.
5. Producing minutes and records of meetings.
6. Liaising with a variety of external stakeholders.
7. Updating and streamlining the organisational database.
