We are currently looking for a Housing Officer to join our busy team in Tongwynlais, Cardiff As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for all aspects of housing management, ensuring the effective delivery of front line office and community-based services. Your role will involve managing rent collection and arrears recovery, overseeing tenant allocations, conducting home visits, performing estate inspections, and addressing anti-social behaviour. You will play a key role in tenant consultations and general tenancy and estate management. This position requires a proactive approach to respond to tenant queries regarding rent payments, tenancy enforcement, and housing-related enquiries, while also collaborating with local authorities, police, and other external partners. Hours of Work: 35 Hours / full-time, Temporary until 31 March 2026 Salary: �33,840 to �35,620 per annum Housing Officer Requirements: Relevant and proven experience within the social housing sector. HNC in Housing Studies or equivalent qualification. Strong knowledge of estate and tenancy management, housing law, and benefits systems. Excellent IT literacy and time management skills. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
