Job Description:

We are looking for an Early Years Practitioner in Family Hubs in Nottinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of our multi-disciplinary teams delivering early help and preventative services to families with children.

The vacancies are based at Worksop Family Hub, Bassetlaw Rural Family Hub, and Retford Family Hubs, although the expectation is that the roles will involve working across the Bassetlaw District.

These posts are fixed-term contracts until 31st December 2026 with the potential for extension.

Family Hubs are committed to delivering a targeted and effective service to families in need alongside universal services. Early Years Practitioners will work under the supervision of the Early Years Specialist Practitioner. You will be involved in delivering groups, 1:1 work, and quality play experiences for individual children and their families. This could be in one of our Family Hubs or in the Community.

Additional Information:

This post is also available as a secondment opportunity to existing Nottinghamshire County Council employees. You must seek approval from your line manager before applying.
