What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the post-holder will be responsible for delivering works on our Water Utility and Environmental Agency contracts to a high standard and in a timely manner. Travel and overnighters will be part of the job. You will:
• Assist with the preparation of sites, including unloading and storing of building materials and plant
• Store, handle, use and dispose of materials in the correct manner
• Perform physical tasks such as basic timber shuttering, drainage and kerb laying, material mixing and application
• Operate heavy machinery in conjunction with CPCS training. diggers/dumpers/compressors
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment including wearing full PPE, at all times
• Follow the Company Safety Handbook, and all other safety instructions
• Follow all training and reasonable instructions given

ESSENTIAL

5. Possess a conscientious and positive attitude to work.
6. Holds a SSSTS certifcate or equivlent
7. Be self-motivated and have the ability to complete daily tasks with minimum supervision.
8. Ability to work at heights safely, following relevant training.
9. Ability to follow instructions and accept personal responsibility.
10. Ability to lift, carry and push equipment.
11. Ability to act on initiative, particularly in respect to Health & Safety and reporting relevant matters.
12. Demonstrate good driving skills in company vans, where driving will be monitored and tracked.
13. Willingness to attend training courses, as and when required.
14. Willingness to travel and work away from home, as and when required.
15. Possess a full, clean UK driving licence.
DESIRABLE
16. Experience gained within the water industry, ideally clean water industry, at any level.
17. EUSR Water Hygiene Card.
18. Certificate in Confined Spaces.
19. Certificate in Manual Handling.
