As a Business Services Manager, you will report to the Operational Business Manager this post will work in partnership with Business Services Team Leaders, national Business Managers and local Operational Managers to manage and develop effective and consistent Business Service processes which enable the local delivery of services to children and families and are responsive to requests from the Courts.
Should your application be successful, you will contribute to the effective and efficient management and progression of cases, managing a team that provides administrative support to the local Family Court Advisers and Service Managers.
Your team is responsible for:
* Monitoring case progression
* Receiving referrals from the Court or Cafcass Intake Team
* Creating / updating / closing cases within our case management system
* Corresponding with service users
* Identify any missing information and follow-up as required
* Receiving and dealing with telephone enquiries
* Meeting and greeting visitors, including service users
You will:
* Be responsible for ensuring all Human Resource issues are managed within the team, including but not exclusively Performance Learning Reviews, recruitment, performance and Health and Wellbeing.
* Directly manage Team Leaders and Senior Business Service Officers who in turn manage teams of Business Service Officers.
* Will manage all Business Services Standard Operating Procedures in the East region and within this the quality and quantity of Business Service work via Quality Assurance processes and Key Performance Indicators.
* Will contribute to the management of the estate and budget within the area and will contribute to the development of the national Business Managers team and projects that are commissioned to that team.
* Will be managed by the Operational Business Manager but will work locally alongside all other Operational Managers and play an integral part in local Service Area Meetings.
