Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Student Recruitment Officer to join our team in Birmingham. This role is pivotal in supporting students throughout their educational journey, working closely with our esteemed university partners. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Student Recruitment, the successful candidate will deliver exceptional service to our students and contribute to our mission of facilitating access to higher education.
Key Responsibilities
* Student Support Services: Provide comprehensive support to students, guiding them through the application process and addressing their inquiries.
* Marketing Initiatives: Develop and execute face-to-face and social media marketing strategies to promote our services and attract prospective students.
* Client Engagement: Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping detailed records of interactions and providing guidance on university programs and courses.
* Application Assistance: Assist students in preparing necessary documents, including CVs and personal statements, and facilitate online application submissions.
* Liaison with Educational Institutions: Coordinate with partner universities and colleges to arrange interviews and ensure a smooth admission process for students.
* Administrative Duties: Manage office tasks such as filing, report generation, and presentations, ensuring efficient operation of student recruitment activities.
* Application Monitoring: Track the progress of student applications, serving as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Experience and Qualifications
* Educational Background: A degree in marketing or a related field is preferred.
* Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years in an educational environment, with experience in marketing and student recruitment.
* Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service, with a professional telephone manner.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
* Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.
