The Clinical Services Manager is registered with a professional body and will maintain the registration. The successful candidate will contribute to service development and have the ability to deputise for the Hospital Director. Typical day-to-day duties include: Work with the Quality Team, nursing and therapy colleagues to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary change Ensure that the requirements of the Mental Health Capacity Act and Health and Social Care Act are fulfilled; Deputise for the Hospital Director, working with the Ward Manager with the highly specialist assessment, admission and discharge of service users; Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, treatment and management of risk for individuals with complex needs, and support others to be able to do this; Provide specialist advice which contributes to the care of service users; Contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings as and when required; Conduct clinical assessments of referred service users where time permits, and manage clinical allocation with the Ward Manager; This opportunity requires the successful candidate to ensure there are processes and systems in place for the team to provide effective, caring and responsive patient care in a safe, high-quality clinical environment.Taking responsibility for ensuring all appropriate measures are taken to maintain, promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of patients, colleagues and visitors to an outstanding standard.
