Job Specification: Legal Secretary
Role Purpose
Provide legal and administrative support to a fantastic firm, specialising in private client services such as probate, wills, and lasting powers of attorney, ensuring efficient service and high standards of client care.
The Role
As a Legal Secretary, reporting to the Head of Legal Services, you will provide day-to-day support and assistance to a fantastic firm‘s solicitors in relation to the team’s clients and caseloads, including answering telephone calls, dealing with client enquiries, drafting documents (letters, wills, powers of attorney using templates/precedents), operating the case management system (LEAP), speaking and meeting with clients and other third parties as directed.
Key Responsibilities
• Support solicitors with client caseloads, including answering calls, drafting documents, and using the case management system.
• Manage appointments, file opening, and document management.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in all tasks.
• Work full-time in our Greater London office (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm).
