Salary: Pro rata of £26,716 - £29,196 per annum (i.e. £17,995.81 - £19,666.33)
Work Pattern: 30 hours per week, 36 weeks per year

A fixed-term maternity cover position has arisen at Northbrook College for a Welfare Advisor.
As our Welfare Advisor, you will provide support to a caseload of students with a range of health and wellbeing needs. You will also assist on the delivery of the Mental Health Strategy, arranging events and opportunities in response to the changing local and national wellbeing priorities. The work you do in this role will ensure our students are getting the support they need, and you really can have a positive impact on students’ college journey.
This role will form part of the Safeguarding team and our Welfare Advisor therefore needs knowledge of Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. You must also have experience in providing support to young people with mental health difficulties and hold a level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
