We are currently seeking a Depot Support Manager to aid the Operations team at our facility in Bellshill. Working hours: Monday to Friday Day shift, 08.00 until 16.30, 30 minute lunch break, working a total of 40 hours per week The role: Reporting to the Site General Manager, control and monitor all site functions and engineers to ensure the completion of all Warehouse functions fully, safely and accurately in compliance with the company H&S procedures and Working Procedures and to maintain the team relationship with the operations and transport departments and customer base. Responsibilities : - Manage, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness - Work alongside various teams within the depot including (but not limited to) engineering, administrative, custodial, warehouse, training, HR and operations. - Control and monitor reports of site wide KPI's - Internal and external audit preparation - Responsible for the day-to-day customer service and ensure information flow with the warehouse is efficient; to include on-time turn for trucks, accurate receipt, and shipment of goods - Handle record management/retention for bill of ladings, proof of deliveries, invoices, and accounting credits - Put together data from purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports - Determine stock supply and need for replenishment - Ensure full stock control procedures are adhered to - Conduct cycle counts regularly and assist in physical inventories - Ensure all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to - Help with new goods in/out booking requests via Outlook & telephone Who we're looking for: - Previous demonstrated experience working in a similar role i.e. depot support or operations - Auditing qualification or proven experience - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organisation - Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office - Ability to read, analyse, and interpret company policies, procedures, and agreements - Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload - Strong conflict management skills, including those involving sensitive and complex matters - Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed - Previous experience of stock control - Previous experience of warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or SAP AS400 system is desirable.
