How You'll Make an Impact as a Junior Quality Engineer
1. As a Junior Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that our software applications are reliable and meet the highest quality standards. Your contributions will include:
2. Designing and executing manual and automated test cases to ensure software functionality.
3. Identifying and documenting defects early in the testing lifecycle to prevent them from reaching the end-users.
4. Collaborating with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure quality is built into every stage of the software development lifecycle.
5. Performing API testing, understanding HTTP methods, and handling API payloads and authorization.
6. Executing SQL queries to validate data integrity and interacting with automation scripts for comprehensive testing.
7. Engaging in regression, re-testing, and smoke testing to ensure software stability.
8. Your efforts will ensure our applications meet the diverse needs of global supply chains, contributing to our mission of creating sustainable, technology-driven solutions for worldwide trade.
What We're Looking for from You
We are looking for someone who has a passion for software quality and a methodical approach to problem-solving. Here's what will help you succeed:
1. 2+ years of experience in software testing.
2. Familiarity with SDLC and STLC processes.
3. Experience in manual testing, test case design, and defect life cycle management.
4. Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman.
5. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and test automation tools (Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
6. Basic SQL query knowledge to validate data.
7. Understanding of automation scripts and their execution.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience in Agile methodologies and using tools like Jira.
