A sought after opportunity has arisen for a Senior Therapist to join the Occupational Therapy Department in Addenbrooke's Hospital.
We are looking for an innovative team player to join the Neurosciences team.
You will be an experienced Occupational Therapist with good communication and a wide range of clinical skills and some experience working with patients with a neurological diagnosis. You will also have some experience of developing service improvement projects.
As a proven Clinical Educator, you will play a role in providing placements to OT students and take part in our education programme.
You will provide comprehensive occupational therapy to patients, working autonomously and without direct supervision, integrating the available evidence-base. You will ensure safe and effective delivery of occupational therapy and work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
If you are experienced at working in Acute Care / Community with complex patients, committed to improving patient care and patient flow, practice evidence based therapy and enjoy working in a team then this is the job for you.

Main duties of the job
Effectively and creatively deliver high quality occupational therapy services to patients with neurology, neurosurgery and major trauma conditions.
Carry a full case load without direct supervision whilst developing supervisory and project / service delivery skills.
Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, Division and Occupational Therapy department.
