Job Overview
We are looking for experienced Support Workers for children services with a background in residential care, nursing homes, or supported living homes to provide high-quality support for both adults and children.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide high-quality care and support to the children, tailored to their individual needs.
2. Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and social engagement.
3. Ensure the safety and well-being of service users at all times.
4. Maintain accurate records and documentation as per regulatory and organizational standards.
5. Work collaboratively with team members and other professionals to deliver exceptional care.
6. Follow all compliance and safeguarding protocols diligently.
Qualifications and Requirements
1. Experience: Proven experience working in a care or nursing home setting, supporting adults and children.
2. DBS Check: A valid Enhanced DBS certificate with adult and child workforce checks and no convictions.
3. Training: Completion of all mandatory support worker training, including but not limited to:
* Safeguarding Adults & Children
* Manual Handling
* First Aid
* Health & Safety
* Infection Prevention & Control
* Autism & Epilepsy
* Prevention Management of Violation and Aggression (PMVA)
1. References: Ability to provide all necessary references during the verification process (including full address of last 5 years).
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
