The primary purpose of this role is to provide legal advice and support to the business across a wide range of matters, including commercial contracts, litigation, and employment. Additionally, the position involves supporting the lawyers within the Legal team and managing your own caseload of legal matters. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the legal success of the organisation while developing your expertise in various legal domains.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle own caseload of matters with supervision where required, whilst providing regular updates to manager
* Review a variety of contracts including NDA's, perm and temp terms, general supply terms and provide feedback to the business and risk reviews where required
* Respond to ad hoc legal queries from the business, giving clear, consistent and practical advice
* Prepare supplier templates to support delivery of our commitments to clients, customising templates as necessary to flow down client terms
* Prepare amendments required to Worker contracts in order to ensure we are meeting our commitment to clients
* Handle and manage straightforward litigation matters such as overpayments, dealing with court documentation and pre action letters
* Deal with breaches of restrictive covenants and review documentation and evidence to prepare first and second level letters to respondents and their employers
* Conduct research as required and draft Legal Insights where appropriate

* Law degree and/or relevant legal knowledge
* Good IT literacy and technologically adept
* Organised, methodical and capable of multitasking
* Completer / finisher with an eye to detail
