The Role:
As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the welfare and care of each child while providing guidance to the care team.
* Lead and support the care team during shifts
* Ensure all tasks and activities are completed effectively
* Conduct shift health and safety checks
* Address and resolve any issues that arise during shifts
* Shadow the Deputy/Registered Manager to enhance leadership skills
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Support Worker role will have:
* Experience as a strong Support Worker, preferably in a senior position
* Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce
* Ability to lead and support a team effectively
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
