We're looking for a Senior Estimator to join our Bids Team based in Basingstoke. Location : Office location - Basingstoke. Remote working available, with travel to Client sites and Kier offices required. Hours : Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week. Flexible working may be available if required - just let us know. What will you be responsible for? As a Senior Estimator, you'll be working within the Bids Team, supporting them across the Kier FM portfolio. Your day to day will include: This role will be focused on pricing and winning new tenders and existing framework opportunities for the business. You will be responsible for all elements of the pricing for bids, from modelling the costs and assessing the margins, through to completing bid pricing documents and client presentations. This will require you to manage robust and long-term relationships with subcontractors and internal teams. You will need to assist with the production of tender documents, attend pre-tender and post tender interviews and provide data as requested Role needs to ensure all estimating work is complete and accurate in advance of tender settlements and output is communicated in understandable and structured way with a focus on the key risks and issues. Ensure all bid models are fit for purpose, logical, easy to follow and updated regularly for the latest information (e.g. staff costs, pensions, fleet, IT etc). What are we looking for?
