Our client, a leading law firm in Huddersfield, is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their dynamic HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, with a short-term view of becoming the HR Manager. Based in Huddersfield but happy to consider full time and part time candidates and flexible working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing HR advice and support to employees and managers.
- Managing the recruitment process, including job postings, screening applications,
and conducting interviews.
- Assisting with employee relations matters, including performance management,
disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.
- Managing HR administration tasks, such as maintaining employee records,
processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with employment law.
- Supporting the HR Manager with various HR projects, including implementing new
HR initiatives and policies.
Required Skills and Experience:
- CIPD qualified or equivalent.
- Proven experience in HR, ideally within a law firm or professional services
environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
