Job summary We are looking for a Locum Trust Grade Doctor. The post holders main role is to provide clinical input and support team members of the Community Mental Health Team which provide mental health services to adult patients of working age (18-65) in the Exeter area of Devon. This is a full time, community-based post (though interested LTFT candidates will also be considered). The Post holder will be mainly based at the Devon Partnership Trust base at Wonford House hospital in Exeter, where admin space and secretarial support will be provided. The post holder would be supported to construct a personal development plan with the support of the line manager (consultant psychiatrist supervising the post holder), and will have dedicated weekly SPA time, study leave and funding to support continuing professional development. This is Fixed Term for 12 Months Main duties of the job The Community Mental Health Team provides on-going support for patients with severe and enduring mental illness and complex needs. The post holder is expected to be actively involved in formulating a care plan and treatment plan based on evidence-based treatment guidelines. The post holder is expected to work in close liaison and collaboratively with other services/agencies. The post holder would be a key member of the multi-disciplinary team. The team provides initial assessments of patients who are referred to the Service and triaged by the Referrals management service.
