Management Level: P5 The Sr. Sales Manager will lead and drive business results and aggressive growth for exports and sourcing in European markets, focusing on profit-tied operations, strategy development, and execution of commercial and innovation activities. This role involves transforming the business into a consumer-driven organization by leveraging international and U.S. market strengths. Additionally, the Sr. Sales Manager will sell Tyson Foods products and manage customer support for large, high-volume food service accounts, aiming to achieve financial and customer satisfaction objectives through effective collaboration and time management. The role requires adaptability to varying customer personalities and involves making impactful decisions on market psychology, pricing, and positioning within the meat industry, while also driving Tyson's Grow Deliver Sustain strategy through special projects. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Account Management: Directly manage key accounts, including building joint-business plans, forecasting, and executing sales plans. Actively manage regional commercial activities for both Foodservice and B2B channels. Participate in periodic face-to-face meetings with key customers and maintain direct relations with key buyers for strategic alignment. Collaborate with Key Account Managers (KAMs) to deliver regional objectives and ensure the execution of commercial strategies. Commercial and Management Activities: Support the sales team in executing commercial plans for the regions in line with short and mid-term objectives. Implement activities necessary to achieve sales targets in collaboration with the local commercial team. Coordinate all sales forecasting activities with KAMs and Sales Analysts to ensure accurate forecasting for short-term, quarterly, and annual budgets. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with cross-functional leaders (Finance, Customer Service, R&D, Quality, Legal, etc.) to ensure daily tasks are accomplished. Partner with Marketing and Trade-Marketing to provide the sales team with communication tools necessary to support sales. Work with Marketing and R&D to identify and launch new products. Market Analysis and Strategy: Analyze market and trend data to advise the team on the best actions. Convey knowledge and confidence in pricing, market trends, and product knowledge to succeed in a dynamic environment while maintaining Tyson's policies, core values, team behaviors, and customer creed. Qualifications:. Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience. Experience: 3 years of industry experience preferred. Evidence of prior leadership roles in a career or community is a plus Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Ability to learn company and customer-specific systems. Communication Skills: Fluency in English and German is a MUST Additional languages are desirable. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be confident in presenting material over the phone and in person. Ability to influence all levels and departmental functions of the organization. Special Skills: Excellent selling and negotiation skills. European second language and experience in European import processes are desired. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build professional relationships with customers. Critical thinker with the ability to make complex information easy to understand. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Supervisory: Manage one Customer Service Representative. Travel: 50-75% travel required, for customer engagements.
