Randstad Student Support is recruiting for an experienced Academic Support Specialist to work with students who have disabilities or mental health conditions studying at Universities and Colleges in Liverpool Hope University.
As an Academic Support Specialist, you will provide tailored support to students, helping them navigate academic challenges, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.
Your key responsibilities will include assisting students with organisation and time management, breaking down tasks to meet deadlines, achieving a balance between study and daily living, managing anxiety, stress, or low mood, preparing students for new experiences, and building on their confidence and strengths to become independent learners.
Desirable skills include experience working with clients with disabilities and mental health conditions, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, punctuality, reliability, good organisational skills, and the ability to manage a caseload of students.
