About Northorpe Hall Child & Family Trust
We are a charity based in Kirklees, West Yorkshire with a commitment to working with and supporting children and young people under the age of 25 who are facing disadvantage in their lives.
A large part of our work involves supporting the mental and emotional health of children and young people including supporting families where this will positively impact on young people’s mental health and well-being.
We deliver support, services, activities and events from our beautiful buildings and grounds in Mirfield. The site provides safe and therapeutic spaces which promote wellbeing as well as hosting weddings and events in the Northorpe Barn.

The role
This is an exciting and important role as part of the Kirklees Youth Mentoring Service which will make a real and long lasting difference to the young people being supported.
We are looking for a part time Project Lead to co-ordinate the mentoring service, providing supervision and supporting workers in the team. The role will be responsible for ensuring service aims are being met and our support is delivered to a high standard. As part of the role, you will be required to hold a small caseload directly mentoring some young people.
You will be committed to deliver positive outcomes for young people by ensuring best practice, excellence across this service and continuous improvement in all aspects of the project. As Project Lead you will be required to document progress, draft reports for internal and external use, share learning and outcomes from this service.
