DISTILLERY MANAGER

Our client, an award-winning distillery in Scotland, is looking to recruit a Distillery Manager with responsibility for the effective management of distillery operations including health and safety, quality, compliance, innovation and continuous improvement.
Main Points of the Role
1. Effective management of distillery operations, including distilling, warehousing, and physical stocks.
2. Ensure production schedules, quality, wastage and efficiency standards are achieved, reported and trended according to business governance.
3. Ensure a CI approach to all production is established, and opportunities to optimise our process at fully delivered.
4. Coordinate, support and train distillery staff to ensure production tasks are carried out to schedule and according to procedures and quality standards.
5. Ensure all required documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner, with associated reporting and recommendations on efficiency improvements.
6. Ensure all estate buildings on site are maintained to the highest standards, including site services.
7. Lead any agreed CAPEX builds on site, tracking expenditure and reporting.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Three years Distillery Management experience essential.
2. IBD qualification or BSc (Hons) Brewing and Distilling desirable.
