Full-Time PSHE Teacher – Portsmouth, Hampshire

This role begins in September 2025 and offers a generous annual salary between £30,000 and £50,000, tailored to reflect your experience and teaching calibre. A fixed-term contract is available following a successful probationary period.

Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and age-appropriate PSHE lessons that cover key topics such as emotional wellbeing, relationships, safety, and citizenship.
* Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and heard.
* Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams to ensure PSHE is integrated across the wider school ethos.
* Adapt content to meet the diverse needs of learners and ensure lessons are both impactful and accessible.
* Support students in developing critical life skills, empathy, and resilience.
Requirements:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Strong understanding of the PSHE curriculum and current safeguarding principles.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Empathetic, patient, and passionate about personal and social education.
* ECTs and experienced teachers are equally welcome to apply.
* Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
