My client are an established, independent accountancy practice providing a range of services to individuals and businesses. The practice has a range of services including statutory accounting, taxation, bookkeeping, management accounting and consulting. They seek a semi-senior to join the team to support the team with a range of client work. This role is ideal for someone who has a good core experience in practice accounting who wants to continue to develop their practical skills as well as further their studies. Areas of responsibility will include: • Preparing sole trader accounts• Completion of personal tax returns • Preparation of statutory accounts • Completing corporation tax returns• Preparing management accounts• Bookkeeping and preparing VAT returns Successful candidates will have the following profile: • Practical experience from an accountancy practice • AAT or ACCA part qualified • Strong communication skills • Competent IT skills including Microsoft products, ideally previous use of Iris, Xero, Quickbooks and Sage
