Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join our team in Welwyn Hatfield, United Kingdom. This position requires working late afternoon shifts from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM daily, providing essential care and support to our clients in their homes.
1. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
2. Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met
3. Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
4. Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
5. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
6. Document and report any changes in client's condition or concerns to supervisors
7. Travel to clients' homes using your own vehicle
8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
9. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Benefits Include:
10. Hourly rates of £12.00 - £13.00 per hour (averaging with benefits £14.00ph)
11. Paid travel time between clients (some restrictions apply)
12. Paid travel expenses £0.30/per mile - £0.45/per mile
13. Paid training - all time spent training is paid including CPD courses
14. Minimum 1-hour rates

Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
17. Valid UK driver's license and reliable car (essential)
18. Resident within our franchise region
19. Must be prepared to work alternate weekends
20. Must have the Right to Work in the UK - we are not licenced to offer sponsorship
21. Desire to work within Adult Care Sector
22. Reliable, compassionate, with abundance of common sense
Additional Information
We are also interested in Live-In care professionals and as a Live In Care Professional, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support and high rates of pay.
