Over the past 25 years, we've changed the way people travel across European travel, offering easy and affordable options with a fleet of 330+ aircraft, serving over 70 million passengers annually across 800 routes. The litigation teams are responsible for supporting the management, coordination, and processing of disruption information to enable legal claims to be successfully challenged. Reporting through to the legal claims team leader, the DIO will analyse disruption events & ensure quality evidence is obtained & retained.
What you'll be doing
As a Disruption Information Officer, you will play a critical role supporting easyJet's legal claims process by managing, coordinating, and processing disruption information to enable successful claim challenges. Your core duty involves analysing disruption events and obtaining quality evidence that is retained for investigation. Working closely with internal easyJet teams, you will review incidents to determine appropriate information capture, gather details on root causes, measures taken, and customer welfare provisions. Leveraging aviation systems, you will create coherent pictures of operational matters during disruptions to understand recovery efforts and impacts. Your evidence packs and trial bundles will provide vital documentation to legal representatives. With a customer service mindset, you will correspond professionally and treat all passengers respectfully. Overall, you will maintain disruption databases, improve evidence collection, represent easyJet as an expert witness in courts, and work cross-functionally to deliver excellent service during challenging situations.
Requirements of the Role
What you need to do the role
We seek candidates with aviation experience who can leverage knowledge of legal/regulatory requirements to collect quality data and build strong relationships. You must be highly organised, detailed, efficient, numerate, and comfortable with large workloads and using Excel, PowerPoint, and other systems to understand complex airline disruptions. Proficiency in other European languages is ideal.

This role is primarily based in Luton hybrid working with 3 days in the office.
