Morgan Hunt is working alongside an FE College based in Derbyshire to recruit for a qualified BSL/English Interpreter to join their Deaf Access Team as a Community & Educational Interpreter.
Job Role - BSL Interpreter
Location - Derbyshire
Hours - Full time/37 hours a week.
The Role
1. This role includes lots of variety and you'll be working with a wide range of people, from students to professionals in their workplace.
2. You may be asked to attend a one-off appointment or be working with the same person on multiple occasions, in various settings such as hospitals, GP surgeries, offices and classrooms.
3. Whilst you will be out in the community working with external customers, you will also be asked to support internal colleagues and higher education students.
4. There are also other unique projects to get involved with, such as induction videos for students.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified to Level 4/6 in BSL
- NRCDP registered or a willingness to become registered.
- People personal with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
