Join us, and help be the energy behind the change Here at National Gas, we are at the forefront of the UK's move towards sustainable energy and achieving our Net Zero goals by 2050. Whilst our teams work behind the scenes to develop the future of our energy systems, our engineers are out in the field delivering the natural gas demands of today. About The Role Our Asset Graduates have a brilliant opportunity to work alongside experts, who every day, are shaping policy for National Gas. They do this by ensuring that our company assets are adapted and maintained regularly to reflect the ever-evolving nature of the energy sector. During this 18-month programme, after your initial induction, you’ll complete three 6-month placements. This will cover all teams within the Asset business function, so that you can have exposure to different, yet relevant experiences and skillsets that will set you up for your career. You'll have the opportunity to gain first-hand, on the ground experience whilst working within the Asset Team and be supported by industry specialists who come from a range of engineering disciplines. This insight will enable you to observe and understand any risks that might be associated with the development of our new Hydrogen and CO2 pipelines and how our engineering teams might best navigate this day to day. About You For you to thrive as an Asset Graduate, you’ll need to be confident in engaging with people at various levels within the business. A key part of the role is to assimilate important information and relay it to other stakeholders in accessible and relatable ways.
