Due to expansion, we are now hoping to increase our team in Bury and the surrounding areas, We are looking for a Trainee Submersible Pump Engineer to cover this area. You will be expected to drive throughout the area to perform your role. A local storage facility will be set up for you to store and receive parts. As a Trainee Submersible Pump Engineer your role will include:- Servicing and cleaning basement pumping stations within properties (domestic and commercial) Working with groundwater, stormwater and sewage pump systems Undertaking a planned maintenance programme usually on a 6 month or annual basis Installing replacement pumps and accessories as required including associated pipework Checking electrical readings via insulation resistance and continuity tests. Previous experience of similar work is not essential as all training will be provided. As a Trainee Submersible Pump Engineer you will be / have:- A Team Player Self-starter, with ability to work alone High attention to detail and always able to deliver high quality Methodical and organised Good communicator and customer facing Able to plan own work and have a good level of IT Enthusiastic and motivated Field based Hold a full UK Driving Licence Training will be providec. Electricial qualifications and knowledge of below ground waterproofing, would be beneficial but they are not essential. Also, knowledge of below ground waterproofing is useful but not essential.
