The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, the Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishops Stortford, and St Margarets Hospital in Epping.
We employ 4,000 people and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, centred on the M11 corridor and the towns of Harlow, Bishops Stortford and Epping. Our extended catchment area incorporates a population of up to 500,000 and includes the areas of Hoddesdon, Cheshunt and Broxbourne in Hertfordshire.

Job Overview
Are you an enthusiastic BI developer looking for a new challenge? We have a fixed term or secondment opportunity to cover maternity leave in a busy BI team. If you are a great communicator and love providing customers with insightful dashboards, then this may be the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities
1. Assist with the delivery of a high quality, responsive and efficient BI development service supporting PAH and customer objectives through delivery of reports through the PAH BI solution.
2. Work with information colleagues and customers, identifying opportunities to deliver reporting services at scale through a do once approach to support customer improvement of health care services.
3. Support the Head of BI to implement a culture of customer service and continual improvement.
4. Support the development of the PAH BI solution, including assisting in the design and build of the reporting architecture.
5. Support delivery of report developments in an agile manner, ensuring they are developed as efficiently as possible and in line with best practice to enhance the end user experience.
6. Take advice and guidance from the Head of BI to understand BI development techniques and technologies, including best practices to support the team in developing their specialist understanding and knowledge.
7. Work with the rest of the BI team and wider informatics team to ensure a consistent approach to data visualisation.
