Job Description This role will have a starting salary of £18,810 This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions. As a Finance Apprentice, you will play a pivotal role in Providing support to both finance teams(Financial Accounting & Management Accounting), performing a range of tasks at the financial month end and at year end for the Annual Accounts and assisting with a range of financial audits, including the audit of the Annual Accounts by the National Audit Office. You will learn about UKAEA’s finance system and financial processes and gain hands-on experience (for example inputting journals and timesheet amendments), before moving on to projects of greater depth. Additional Responsibilities: Complete national academic qualification as defined by the apprenticeship training standard: Accounts or finance assistant / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education Attend designated training provider, develop and attain a good knowledge of technical skills. Represent the UKAEA Organisation and attend external outreach and careers events.
