The RDaSH Doncaster Mental health service is looking to recruit a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our friendly and dynamic team.
The post holder will work within various Multidisciplinary Teams, which includes Psychology, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Nurses, medical team and Rehab Assistants.
You will provide Physiotherapy assessment and intervention both in the inpatient and community to patients with a wide range of conditions across Doncaster.
The successful candidate will be able to autonomously manage a caseload of patients with a range of illness and disability. They will be registered with the HCPC and have significant post graduate qualifications and experience.
Main duties of the job
1. To perform comprehensive physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions.
2. Supervise band 5 Physiotherapists and students.
3. Regularly delegate to rehabilitation assistants and supervise rehabilitation programmes.
4. Assist the Physiotherapy Lead to monitor service performance, triage referrals, manage waiting lists and support the production of falls reporting on the inpatient ward.
We encourage and support staff to continue to develop, with access to in house and external training.
