About the Opportunity
You will be part of our wider project management community assisting with the delivery of a wide range of construction projects in the UK and overseas for both the public and private sectors. Example projects include a power station in the Falkland Islands, housing projects in Cyprus, and projects for the British Antarctic Survey. Each day as a graduate will offer new opportunities and challenges, ensuring no two days feel the same. You will be working under the supervision of experienced Project Managers.
Our Project Management teams are located in Chester, Manchester, Southampton, and London. While we operate flexibly, we value a close team community and would like you to be in the office most of the time (5 days a week initially); this can be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Your Skills and Experience
For this role, we believe your starting point is:
1. Having completed a BEng, MEng, or MSc level degree in building/civil engineering or a related discipline or construction/project management.
2. Candidates must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years for the purpose of security vetting.
3. A basic understanding of health and safety legislation, including CDM Regulations.
4. A basic understanding of various procurement methods for construction projects and contract/commercial administration requirements.
5. Excellent communication and IT skills.
6. Ability to write high-quality reports.
