An alternative provision is looking for an experienced behaviour mentor to join their support staff. This school is seeking staff to support key stage 2 and 3 students who have social, emotional, mental health, and behaviour associated needs. This school has a key focus on sport, therefore individuals with a sporting background will be desirable. As this is a relatively small school, they are keen to employ someone who can slot straight into their tight-knit team. Therefore, personality, motivation, and additional skills are important.
Key Responsibilities

3. Offer guidance and mentoring
4. Provide a safe environment to learn
5. Deal with challenging or disruptive behaviour
Candidate Requirements
1. Experience working with special educational needs as a teacher or carer
2. A passion for working within education
3. A proactive approach to supporting students with diverse needs
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
5. Up to date safeguarding training
To Be Eligible For This Role You Must:
1. Hold Right to Work in the UK
2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
3. Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last 2 years
