We are looking to appoint a teacher of German to join our dedicated and thriving Modern Languages Department that covers Spanish, French, and German.
German is a popular language at SWPS and the most popular at A Level. The German Department has a proven track record of excellent results at GCSE and A Level, and its value added is amongst the strongest in the School.
We believe in offering our pupils an authentic, positive language learning experience with as much variety and personalisation as they need. The chosen candidate will not only deliver effective lessons and excellent results, but will also be able to inspire students by bringing the German culture to life.
This post is suitable for an ECT, learning from highly experienced colleagues offering supportive teaching and an opportunity for academic, professional, and personal development.
The teaching allocation for this role will be approximately 60% split across 3 or 4 days. A Head of Department position and allowance may be available for the right candidate.
