The Heaton Property Maintenance Team is a critical part of our business supporting the multi-award winning property management operation based in Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne. We specialise in providing property maintenance services to rental properties in Newcastle upon Tyne and the surrounding areas. We also assist with day-to-day maintenance in blocks of flats, private estates, and refurbishments for landlords in the region. If you enjoy variety and excel as a team member while being passionate about delivering brilliant service through high-quality maintenance work, you'll find that you are a perfect match for us.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading property maintenance company. You will be involved in all aspects of the maintenance side of our growing company and will be expected to learn about, understand, and assist the team with the day-to-day running of the company and our goals.
As a part of the maintenance team, you will be committed to ensuring the managed portfolio of properties is in a high state of repair. From touching up paintwork to fixing a broken door closer, from repairing a leaking tap to PAT testing appliances, you will be called upon to complete a wide variety of jobs across our portfolio. Given the nature of this role, it is important that you have experience in property maintenance. Whether you are a painter and decorator, plumber, joiner, electrician, or an all-round 'handyman', we would love to hear from you.
You will be working as part of the Heaton Property Maintenance team in and out of an office and home environment, dealing with clients and subcontractors both face-to-face and on the phone, so a 'can do' attitude is a prerequisite. You will need good communication skills, a strong, friendly personality, and an eye for detail. We are a multidisciplinary team and frequently adapt our roles. We expect all our team members to work towards relevant qualifications, and ongoing training is actively encouraged.
You must have a full driving licence.
