This role involves a mix of inpatient/outpatient clinics, home visits, and the supervision of students and assistants. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality nutritional support to patients, including those requiring enteral feeding and complex nutrition support. Responsibilities: As a Locum Dietitian, you will provide expert nutritional assessments and personalized care plans for inpatients, outpatients, and home care patients. Your role will include managing enteral feeding, complex nutrition support, and contributing to parenteral nutrition management where required. You will also supervise and mentor students and assistants, ensuring they receive appropriate guidance and support. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams will be essential to ensure optimal care and outcomes for patients. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and progress, as well as participate in audits, training, and continuous professional development. Adherence to relevant clinical guidelines and best practices in dietetics will be required, alongside the ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload. Qualifications and Experience: HCPC registration as a Dietitian. Experience with enteral feeding and complex nutrition support. Ideally, experience with parenteral nutrition. Previous experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Proven ability to supervise students and assistants effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of relevant clinical guidelines and best practices in dietetics.
