Business Development Manager We have been asked to secure two new hires to start in the new year in the role of Business Development Manager based out of their offices in Hertfordshire, close to north London. With a growth mindset, you will be: Expanding the client base by introducing new services to businesses across London and Home Counties. Leveraging their CRM system and nurturing intelligent sales leads Introducing yourself to business decision makers across multiple business types Generating new business via networking, events and social media (LinkedIn) Manage inbound marketing leads and enquiries – they get 70 inbounds p/m currently Take prospects through sales process, demonstrating value proposition, closing contracts and ensuring post-sale machine or service installations are successful Why we like it: Variety of phone-based prospecting and in-person meetings - a "360 degree" sales role Whilst the business is in early development growth phase, you will also account manage the prospects that you win A really thorough and structured onboarding and training schedule not just for sales but also business and leadership Vision to grow the business from 7 to 30 in the next 4 years and get to £10m turnover. This will create the need to promote from within into leadership roles to build sales and CRM teams Pathway to director level roles long-term Package Salary of £35K-£45K base depending on sales experience, with uncapped commission and company car allowance of £350 p/m, which can move to company car scheme after the probation period 26 days BH, Hours are Monday-Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm Profile Experience in successfully selling solutions in a B2B environment with a confident telephone manner and ability to qualify leads Experience managing and improving CRM data Results-driven mindset with a track record of exceeding sales targets Full UK driving license Positive and can-do attitude Resilient under pressure Strong attention to detail Clear communication skills, including being an excellent listener
