Slot Administrator (Central Booking Team)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Slot Administrator role in our busy Central Booking Office. The successful candidate will gain an array of new skills and will be responsible for:
* Coordinating a professional, efficient appointment booking service
* Coordinating clinics and altering clinics as required
* Working closely with cancer services and fellow slot administrators to improve capacity
* Working with NHS systems - EPIC/E-REFERRALS
* Ensuring all referral processes, appointments, and enquiries are dealt with efficiently and timely, escalating to senior manager as appropriate
* Maximizing slot utilization
* Undertaking general clerical duties to maximize outpatient capacity
* Meeting with fellow slot administrators to discuss slot requirements
* Maintaining security and confidentiality of information
* Understanding the 2ww process and RTT targets
* Providing excellent customer care, including communication with distressed and anxious patients and relatives
* Maintaining the professional image of the Trust

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 08.30 - 16.30
