Recycling manufacturing company supplying packaging material to the food industry requires a Logistics Coordinator to support the site Superintendent with onsite logistics operations including health and safety, finished goods, warehouse activities, raw material, weighbridge and yard operations, material handling equipment, site housekeeping, check all shipments in and out, CRM cases, TMS payroll, stock control and SAP systems, AIM truck agreements, shunting, loading/shipment handling.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Substantial experience in a logistics operations role
2. Stock take / management of raw material / finished product
3. Qualification in a logistics orientated subject
4. Health and Safety knowledge
5. Effective task planning and time management
6. Leadership capability
7. Self motivated, calm, resilient and committed to self-development
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure and maintain all stocks both onsite and offsite
2. Check all shipments in and out
3. Manage payroll, shift cover and holidays logistics
4. Oversee CRM – customer complaints system
5. Utilize TMS/Autostore/SAP systems
6. Maintain all rewinds/stock transfers
7. Control of hauliers when on site and address issues
8. Inspection for verification on trailer integrity
9. Manage logistics office when Superintendent is away
10. Address product supply issues and onsite haulier issues
11. Liaise with Production Planners or Mill Production team
12. Arrange transport via scheduling of loading/delivery times with use of mill business systems
13. Ensure on-time deliveries and accurate load specifications
14. Maximize OTIF, load transport weights, ensuring load safety and quality standards
15. Supervise and manage Warehouse Operators when required
16. Maintain Health and Safety procedures
17. Ensure accurate receipt and storage of materials from production
18. Maintain quality standards
19. Control stock integrity and corrections
20. Manage customer complaints/returns when required
21. Support management of third party contractors for warehouse activities when superintendent is away
22. Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained
23. Manage materials handling equipment and fault reporting
