Prospero’s Childrens Education Services are looking for teachers or specialist SEND practitioners who are eager to work via 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with a variety of learning needs, in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner, to raise their engagement and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.

The role:
8. This role will involve providing education on a 1:1 basis to students
9. Sessions will take place within their home or local community
10. Hours will be 2 – 3 hours per day per student
11. Students will require support in their educational and social-emotional journey
12. If selected, your role will be to provide this support via flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Tasks and responsibilities:
13. Planning each session of teaching/tutoring/mentoring
14. Providing the young person with holistic and engaging sessions which meet their needs and advance their educational and social-emotional journey
15. Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on the young person’s progress
Requirements:
16. Experience working with young people with Additional Educational Needs
17. Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes
18. Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
19. Two professional references
20. Hold the right to work in the UK
