Recruitment Consultant – Temporary Division
Location: Soham, Cambridgeshire
Hours: 36.5 hours per week (Flexible start and finish times)
Hourly Rate / Salary: Depending on level of experience + commission

Joining our team of 12 at Head Office, this role focuses on temporary recruitment, placing workers into assignments that could lead to permanent work across Suffolk. You will be supporting our Senior Consultant to find staff for existing clients alongside building relationships with new companies who may wish to work with us in the future. This is a 360-recruitment role that involves business development and is therefore suited to people who enjoy a fast-paced sales environment that is targeted. You must be self-motivated and have a drive that will see you succeed.
Having previous recruitment experience is not essential, but ideally you will have worked within a previous customer service or sales role and be able to demonstrate times when you have performed under pressure.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Build relationships with new and existing clients
2. Establish new clients and negotiate terms of business
3. Generate leads to turn into new business
4. Register candidates to create talent pools
5. Qualify candidates and match them to client specifications
6. Process candidate applications
7. Arrange interviews and inductions
8. Manage the recruitment process from start to finish
9. Provide feedback to both candidates and clients
10. Manage a high volume of calls and emails
11. Take home the work mobile to manage any early starting temporary workers
12. Manage the full process of temporary recruitment
13. Learn compliance and employment legislation tasks and carry out accordingly
14. Use the database system on a daily basis
15. Attend networking events
16. Understand and learn the recruitment market
